As part of the project The Future Has Many Histories (2021-2023)by the Bewaerschole Foundation in Burgh-Haamstede, 12 artists were asked to create a temporary outdoor sculpture in the vicinity of the Bewaerschole. Marinus van Dijke is one of those artists who created a temporary outdoor sculpture for this purpose.
His sculpture is based on the dynamic development of the dunes and the young sickle dunes on the wide beach of Schouwen-Duiveland. For the location of this sculpture seemed to him the little Park next to the Kloosterweg an excellent spot. Not only because of the surroundings but also because it has a relationship with the naming of the buildings of Duinen van Haamstede. |
