On two sheets of paper measuring 150 by 150 cm, shapes of mudflats are painted using mud from the Oosterschelde coast. Whilst the painting is being created, a tape recording can be heard which was made in 1987 at the Kloveniersdoelen in Middelburg during a concert by the composer Morton Feldman. This music influences the painting of the mudflats.
